You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, mentoring junior QA team members, and ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of test strategies for web, mobile, and API platforms.
- Build and maintain robust automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.
- Conduct detailed manual testing for complex features, edge cases, and exploratory scenarios.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure seamless CI/CD integration and early bug detection.
- Own defect lifecycle management using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
- Drive performance, security, and regression testing initiatives.
- Champion QA best practices and contribute to process improvements across teams.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and quality.
Required Skills & Tools
- Strong command of test automation frameworks and scripting in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Deep understanding of manual testing methodologies and test case design.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Proficiency in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
