We are looking for a highly skilled Data Architect with expertise in Azure Databricks to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions. The role involves defining data architecture, implementing data models, and managing end-to-end data integration across cloud and on-prem systems.

Job Title: Azure Data Architect (Azure Databricks)
Location- Indore, MP
Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable data architectures using Azure and AWS (Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Streaming solutions)
Define logical and physical data models to support business requirements
Perform data mapping between source and target systems ensuring data accuracy and consistency
Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, AWS Glue, and SSIS packages
Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, and flat files
Optimize data pipelines, queries, and storage for performance and cost efficiency
Implement data governance, cataloging, and metadata management practices
Design and implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies
Support reporting and analytics platforms (e.g., MicroStrategy) with optimized data structures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
Document architecture, data flows, mappings, and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Data Architect/Data Engineer with Azure Data Platforms
Strong expertise in Azure Databricks, ADLS, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL
Hands-on experience with SSIS packages and legacy ETL systems
Strong knowledge of data modeling, data mapping, and database design (SQL Server)
Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning
Experience with ETL/ELT tools (ADF, AWS Glue, SSIS)
Experience in migrating on-prem data systems to Azure Cloud
Understanding of data warehousing, BI, and analytics concepts
Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance best practices
